Daca nu gasiti seed-eri pe link-urile astea cautati "Superbike School UK". Eu l-am descarcat acum ceva luni si mai tin minte exact de pe ce tracker, si link-urile de mai sus le-am gasit la o cautare pe google.

Plot: Three London motorcycle couriers Fred, Tyg and Grouch set off from London in search of an elusive hippy and his cannabis farm in the Welsh mountains. Originally intended as a 'nice weekend in the country' Fred has now found himself making a promise to his old friend The Chairman that whatever the circumstances and whatever situations arise he will not return empty handed. Grouch has also made a promise that come monday morning he'll be moving his belongings into his new found love Lucinda's flat and make a serious attempt at the world of relationships. As for Tyg no such pact's this is a man who's never been further than the outskirts of London and as far as he's concerned an industrial unit near Heathrow Airport is pretty much the back and beyond. No Tyg's out to explore to broaden his horizons to lose any ignorance and soak up the hospitality of another nation. But then what are those wild beast like noises from the woods and why are there two gangs of bikers in the area preparing to settle an old score. Is this reality or could it be the wild mushrooms they had for breakfast ! It's a three and a half hour journey from London to the Welsh mountains but for our three hero's it's just about to turn into the trip of a lifetime.

Richard Hammond Meets Evel Knievel
Unexpectedly, Richard Hammond Meets Evel Knievel (BBC2) was a pretty rich documentary. In it, Hammond did indeed interview his boyhood hero, albeit with mixed success. (Knievel was already very ill, and seemed a distinctly cussed guy anyway.) Yet, while their strange encounter was interesting in itself, the programme’s real strength lay elsewhere. Almost in passing, it served up lashings of the kind of pure Americana that many other British documentaries have striven much harder for, without matching.

The two men met in Knievel’s birthplace of Butte, Montana. Butte was once a mining boomtown – and Knievel’s tour soon took us back to its long-lost glory days. (“That was Blonde Edna’s, the oldest whorehouse in America.”) The story of his early life, too, returned us to a vanished age, where he and his motorbike were just one of many stunt acts travelling around the towns and fairs of the Midwest.

Knievel’s national breakthrough came in 1967, with an attempt to jump over the fountain at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. Not for the last time, he ended up in hospital – but luckily his tendency to crash seemed to add to his appeal. By the mid-Seventies, his merchandising alone had enabled him to buy three yachts.

The spectacular fall from grace that followed duly included such classic elements as bankruptcy, prison and the discovery of God. Even so, Butte hasn’t forgotten him. When Hammond arrived, the town was holding its annual daredevil weekend in his honour. Amid all the motorbike-related pageantry, the only let-down was the event’s disappointingly factual slogan. “Evel Knievel Days,” proclaimed the banners proudly. “Always the last weekend in July.”
