In 2008 se implinesc 10 ani de Yamaha Seria R

Asa ca primul model din seria R a fost fabricat in anul 1998 si a fost R1,in 1999 au fost scoase pe piata R6 dar si R7.Pana in 2007 au fost fabricate modelele R1 si R6,productia de R7 fiind eliminata din unele motive.

In 2008 Yamaha vine cu un model nou,R125 mai numindu-se si micuta R,iar celelalte fiind imbunatatite fata de modelele precedente.
