The first race for 2016 will be "Kardjali Off-Road Fest" - opening the off-road season with races 4x4 and Enduro
The last edition was 250 participants from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Italy and Tourkey !

Entry fee and all information - HERE ! Approximately 25-40 euro, depending on the period of registration !
Accomodation - HERE ! Approximately about 25-30 euros a double room with breakfast !
Location - 400 km. from Bucharest !
Will be two tracks - HARD for profesionals and SOFT for beginners and veterans !

I suppose the hardest part were deep rivers, as usual
I understood that Veliko Tarnovo was unfortunately replaced with another location- it was in my program. What enduro races remain until the end of the season ?Veliko Tarnovo is canceled...sorry for delay...
The last cometition will be in the begining of November, near Kazanlak, but is not in the Championship !

Rally Raid in three countries - the big adventure from 6 to 12 of September 2015

Hi, we are about to pay for a hotel in Sveti Konstantin (All inclusive,with spa and thermal water for our wives -very good offer, not lasting too much ). Please tell us if the race in Albena will be held for sure, so that we can pay our vacation and where and when will be published the regulation and the program of the race ? -in order to organize. I understood from Boevski we must be there on 30 April, the race will hold 3 days - 1,2,3 May
The hotel will be in GERGANA, Albena !
The price is 45 euro per room for two persons "All inclusive" with drincks
The registration will be on 30 of April from 17:00 to 20:00 h. in hotel Gergana.
Tomorow will be program and regulation, but the regulations is the same like in Kardjali !

Probably Albena, the entries have not started, but I will give you info when is ready !
Entry Fee - 50 leva + 30 leva medical insurance = 40 euro per participant.
The hotel maybe will be "Gergana", price (approximately) 40 euro per day per person all inclusive - food and drinks

20 days before the race we have more than 100 participants in Enduro category from Bulgaria, Spain and Greece

I checked the Bulgarian offroad forum but still not very much information about the competitions to be organized this year. I am sure it will appear, but as soon as you have something you can post it here, please. Are you sure about the dates for Varna, Shumen and Veliko ? where can we find more about these competitions ?
In Kardzali (Rodopi) will not be snow on 28 February ?I understand that we cannot find the track without GPS, there are not enough signs, I suppose.
I heard from a friend of mine that there will be a competition in Russe this year . is it true or are there only rumours ?

No, in Ruse no enduro race, because...no mountains
In Kardjali will not be snow. because is... South Bulgaria or Northern Greece... very rarely has snow...
Enduro Varna will be from 1 to 3 of May or 8-10 of May...I will have info next weekend.
Shumen and Veliko Tarnovo is O.K. - the dates is corect !
Here is BG Enduro races:

2. BG-X Enduro "Karnare" - 25 - 26 of April
3. Enduro "Varna" - 1-3 or 8 -10 of May - 3 days
4. BG-X Enduro "Gabrovo" - 20 -21 of June
5. BG-X Enduro "Шумен" - 11-12 of July
6. Six days crazy job - 2 - 7 of August
7. Shipka-Emine - 29- 30 of August
8. Hard Enduro "Samokov" - 11-13 of September - 3 days
9. BG-X Enduro "V, Tarnovo" - 26- 27 of September
10. Closing of the season - november - still no date but somewhere in South Bulgaria.

Hi Todor, except for the entry fee do I have to pay other taxes like a pilot license or insurance. Enduro in Bulgaria looks great :-)
I checked the Off-Road forum but is only in Bulgarian and I don't understand a word. I'll try Google Translator :-)
No another paymants, excluding the medical insurance (not obligatory for all races). Normaly for 3 days is 15 eur per three days and 10 euro per two days.No license in Bulgaria for Enduro
Ask me if you have questions or interes for races from our forum and I will inform you

Hi Todor, sounds interesting. We'll think about it. Navigation is only on GPS or do you have other painted signs or straps in trees ?
I have been some time ago passing through Kardjali, there are a lot of offroad possibilities there.
Can you also tell us how can we find out information about enduro competitions to be held in Bulgaria in 2015 ? do you have a site like this one where these are posted by the organizers ? Bucharest is very close to Bulgaria and we can come to take part in them.

Yes, there are additional markings, signs and bands on the difficult places.
Bulgarian Enduro Championship have 10 races, but only three races is three days, the another is two days.
For you (because is close) will be interesting the races in Varna - in the beginig of May - 3 days, Shumen - 11 & 12 of July, Veliko Tarnovo - 26 & 27 of September. The another races is on the another side of Bulgaria
But if you wont hard experiance the most popular is "Six Days Crazy Job" - 2-7 of August - many people from Germany, Austria, England and Romania
The another hard and big race is Enduro Samokov - three days in the famous mountain Rila and ski resort Borovets.
The entry fees for 2 and 3 days enduro races is from 15 to 25 euro and the hotels is from 25-30 euro per night for double room for two people.

The first race in Kardzhali there are several competitions at the same time but on different tracks -hard enduro, rally raid and off-road.
The track for Hard Enduro is about 100 km. for the first two days and X-Track for the last day.
You need GPS Garmin for the navigation. We will put you the track.

I think the best choice is bike with 250-350 cc engine
The bike must not be heavy, because the track is a hard... For the Rally Raid Race you need road-book holder and trip master
Navigation by road book, the race is stil Baja - closed roads, around 40-50 km. and you must make three or four rounds. -

The second edition of “Balkan Offroad Marathon” was successfully finished.
65 participants from 8 countries enjoyed the challenge of one of the hardest competitions in Europe.
We are happy that we managed to create an atmosphere of friendship and adventure spirit and for all competitors this to be a great challenge.
Congratulations to the winners and to all who reached the end in Greece and to their assistance's and fans.
The ORGA team thanks to all competitors and their teams. And for the next edition in 2011 we will try to be on an even higher level, with more interesting tracks and especially with many emotions.
