Trebuia s-o spui din capul locului. Cum vedem, noi ca romani, un MC din Romania? La fel ca majoritatea motoristilor din alte tari: copiem o relitate, sau un mit, american, intr-o masura mai mare, sau mai mica. E inevitabil, dat fiind faptul ca acolo, dincolo de balta, a inceput totul. Nu toti o facem, dar majoritatea... Cu vreo 10 ani in urma, am fost unul dintre membrii fondatori, ai unui MC romanesc, la vremea aceea inca neoficial, pe care-l stie mai toata lumea, intretimp. Ideea unui backpatch, din care 75% se regasesc si in emblema actuala a clubului, a venit din dorinta de a exterioriza apartenenta la acel grup, care existase si inainte de acest punct. Regula de baza a fost ceva de genul "toti pentru unul si unul pentru toti", cu timpul fiind adoptate si alte reguli, mai specifice. Fata de noi veniti a fost o atitudine amicala, dar si o distantare, din simplul motiv ca nu-i cunosteam. Cu timpul, unii au fost acceptati, in gasca, altii nu, iar altii au plecat, asa cum au venit. Un MC adevarat face totul, pentru membrii sai, iar membrii fac totul pentru club. Cit de departe se merge, in sensul asta, depinde de club si de membrii, iar motivele, ce-l determina pe un motorist, sa intre intr-un club, sint extrem de variate si nu pot fi generalizate. MC-urile traditionale impartasesc o camaraderie si o scara de valori, total atipica vremurilor noastre. Cred ca asta este motivul pentru care e greu sa fie intelesi, de masele largi. Pentru cei ce inteleg acest lucru, o explicatie e inutila. Pentru cei ce nu inteleg, nici o explicatie nu este posibila. De ce politistii, din punctul meu de vedere, nu corespund tipului de motorist, acceptat intr-un MC traditional, am scris cu doua posturi mai inainte. Oricum, sint curios ce va iesi, din toata treaba, ce vor face Blue Knights si care va fi reactia, in timp, a motoristilor, vis-a-vis de ei. Prior to joining a motorcycle club, it is imperitive that one understands the basic philosophy of the traditional motorcycle club (M/C), how it is organized and what to expect from membership in one. There are many types of motorcycle organizations such as M/C's, M/A's, and R/C's. Being correctly informed, can lead you to the correct type and specific group that's right for you. Within the motorcycling community there are subcultures that if enterd into recklessly, or with the wrong intentions, it can prove to be detrimental to both the group and the individual. Motorcycle clubs(M/C's) are the pinnicale of the motorcycle community. They command respect for a number of reasons: Members of an M/C are chosen by the organization. Many may be invited to take a look, only a few will be ask to join. Members of traditional M/C's must demonstrate a level of personal commitment and self discipline uncommon in todays society. Recognizing that an entire club can be stigmatized by the inappropriate acts of a single person, new prospetive members generally go thru phases such as hang around, prospect and probate. During these phases the individual will learn the protocols, and expectations of the club and of the M/C community. Loyalty and commitment to the club must be demonstrated before the probate may be awarded full colors and be considerd a member of the brotherhood. O fi de ajtor? Mai ales pentru ca nu cred ca ideea de MC s-a schimbat, in decursul anilor. Poate in aparente, dar nu in esenta. Mai, e vorba aici de motociclisti, la modul general? Ca tot nu inteleg... Motociclisti? Bikers? Wtf? Club in ce sens? Ceva gen HOG? Atunci...hai sa zicem. Dar MC, in sensul traditional...nu-mi prea pot imagina cum functioneaza combinatia. Hai sa fim seriosi. MC-urile nu sint organizatii criminale si membrii acestora nu sint criminali, chiar daca unele cluburi si-au facut, din motive ce le privesc personal, o aura de outlaws, meritata, intimplatoare, sau voita. Dar baza intregii idei sint niste concepte ce nu cred sa fie compatibile cu organele legii. Acele mari cluburi vechi, de dincolo de balta, pe care le tot admiram, n-au fost, initial, decit niste adunaturi de oameni satui de viata fada, ipocrita si snoaba, a societatii americane postbelice. Majoritatea acelor biker-i, mai erau si veterani de razboi, cu unele probleme de adaptare, la intoarcerea acasa. Ma rog, ideea e ca acei indivizi au incercat sa se lepede de constringerile societatii si ale sistemului si sa duca un alt fel de viata, mai nonconformist, sau cum vreti voi. Acum, ca aparator al legii, politistul este si un aparator al societatii si al sistemului. Exact chestiile refuzate de cei ce-au stat la baza subculturii noastre. De aceea ma intrebam, cum poate functiona un asemenea spagat? HOG, Star Riders (de la Yamaha Drag Star, Wild Star, etc.), Vulcan Riders, sau Owners, etc., etc., etc., nu sint, pentru mine MC-uri. OK. Unii nici nu pretind asta. Dar inteleg membrii MC-urilor "traditionale" ca sint suparati de faptul ca asemenea grupari circula cu Backpatch si mimeaza, de obicei in WE, biker-ii. La fel si chestia cu Blue Knights MC(?). De ce MC? De la motorcycle club? Pai, initialele astea inseamna, de v-o 50 si ceva de ani, mai mult decit doar motorcycle club. Macar din respect, bun simt, sau doar spre a nu fi confundati cu "inamicul", trebuia sa gasiti alte initiale. Dar, asa cum se intimpla nu doar pe plaiurile mioritice, foarte multi indivizi fac foarte multe lucruri, inainte de a le cugeta.
