Are cineva asha ceva? Merci! pistolaru Postat Iunie 29, 2005 Share Postat Iunie 29, 2005 E o bestie. 1993 Track RecordsBy Larry Lawrence Editor's Note: Now that 1995 is here, Larry is hard at work compiling track records set in 1994. Expect them soon. Every racing season it's inevitable. As sure as the sun will rise, roadracers will continue to turn quicker laps on faster motorcycles with stickier tires tuned by smarter mechanics. Lapping Daytona in a minute and a half at an average speed of 140 miles per hour on a motorcycle seems laughable now, but it most likely will happen someday. Cracking the one minute barrier at Road Atlanta? Kenny Roberts III will probably do it in the year 2015. Many racing fans can remember when a two minute lap time at Daytona was a dream, or when a minute, 40 seconds was hauling-ass around Road Atlanta. Now novices on production bikes can easily accomplish those once-lofty times. In 1993 fourteen new track records were broken, down from 23 marks set in 1992. Two riders - the incomparable Doug Polen and Rocky Mountain fast-man Don Hough - set half of the records last season. Polen was the fast man of the year setting four new records on his Ferracci Ducati. The now defunct Mid-America Raceway near St. Louis was dropped from our list this season. Phoenix International Raceway was added keeping the total number of tracks listed at 45. Daytona remains the fastest piece of pavement in motorcycle roadracing with an average speed of 116.304 miles per hour. With the addition of new pavement, Road Atlanta (at 110.452 mph) is now the fastest true road course in America passing Brainerd which formally held that distinction. Scott Russell still owns more track records than anyone with a total of six. Polen is a close second with five, followed by Hough and Freddie Spencer with three each. In brand competition, Yamaha edged out Suzuki with 15 track records to Suzuki's 14. But the bike that holds more motorcycle roadracing track records in the US than any other is the Suzuki GSXR 1100. The big GSXR has set the mark at 11 circuits. That's nearly one-quarter of the tracks in the country. Eraldo Ferracci is the supreme tuner in the country, having been a part of five of the track records. So one thing is certain: If you saw Scott Russell racing a Suzuki GSXR 1100 tuned by Eraldo Ferracci, you'd have a pretty good chance of witnessing a track record being obliterated! In rest: demaraju e de toata jena, cred ca il ia Nipru. Shase viteze pt jucaria asta. Dece?!

Eu as alege R-ul.
