Indian Chief (1947): 2 cil. in v la 42 grd. de 1200cmc, 40 CP, 130-140 kmph. Indian Scout: 2 cil. in v la 42 grd. de 596cmc (apoi 745cmc), 110-120 kmph. La vremea lor, din cate zice lumea, erau mai tari ca Hd, si introduceau in productia de serie mult mai multe noutati; ex. au fost primii cu suspensie integrala pe vremea cand HD era rigid pe spate.
