The introduction of the Ness Signature Series Vegas last year set a new standard for the factory custom. This year, we set Arlen and Cory Ness loose on the Victory Kingpin. Once again, the bar has been raised. It starts with standard Kingpin genetics. Big fenders. Inverted front fork. Freedom 92/5 V-Twin. Comfortable ride. And an attitude from the other side of the tracks. But look deeper, and you’ll see this bike is a vision in Ness chrome and billet. Billet wheels, billet engine cover inserts and billet-style mirrors. You’ll also find a chrome swingarm, chrome foot controls, chrome passenger peg supports, chrome axle brackets, chrome triple clamps and chrome switch housings. If the Nesses could make it shine, they did. There’s a radical “Purple Haze” color scheme that tells you this didn’t run through any ordinary paint booth. There’s a radius drag bar with braided stainless cables and a custom-stitched ostrich-pattern seat. It’s finished with a Ness logo EFI cover and Ness signature side cover.

Vad ca tocmai au incheiat un parteneriat cu Eicher Motors Ltd - producator Royal Enfield printre altele. Mi se pare mai inspirat decit asocierea HD/ATK/Hyosung.

Habar n-am de termenii asocierilor si nici nu ma intereseaza prea tare dar un Royal Enfield e infinit mai appealing decit orice ATK/Hyosung

Bineinteles ca-i de preferat ca in ultima instanta sa-ti iei informatiile pentru decizia de cumparare din experienta directa, nu din presa. Totusi uite ca modelul Continental GT Cafe Race, ce urmeaza sa fie lansat in 2013, pare ca va fi echipat cu componenete Ohlint si Brambo.

1. nu inteleg de ce diferentele de opinie se sustin mereu prin jigniri. pe langa asta, nu inteleg de ce tot timpul "sta cate unu' la panda sa-ti dea in cap" !!! raman neintelegator si ma mir cum motociclete si femeile starnesc aceeasi senzatie in barbati: fiecare crede c-o fooote cel mai bine....

2. nu inteleg de ce ma intereseaza polemica voastra.

3. da, mi se pare cel putin ciudat modul direct si pe fata si sustinut in vare cei de la Victory se iau la tranta cu HD. dar nu e problema mea, ci a lor, asa ca nu ma deranjeaza.

4. cine critica HD.... e prieten cu vulpea....erau strugurii acri. valabil insa si pentru cei ce critica Victory. am avut HD, chiar un model deosebit FXSTSSE2, dar cand bea 2l ulei in 2000km.....pe el si pe mama lui, ca mie nu-mi trebuie. sau cand sare vopseaua de pe cilindri ....la fel. sau cand lacrimeaza ulei, oricate garnituri ai schimba... tot la fel. da, am mers cu toate modelele de HD si pot spune ca sunt minunate; e o incantare sa le atingi si sa le calaresti...evident ca nu toate sunt pe gustul tuturor, fiecare cu ce i se potriveste, insa in afara de mangaieri placute....ca scumputza "curva", iar despre legenda......am cateva carti cu legende, nu-mi trebuie sa mai platesc una...

5. despre Victory, in afara de unele finisaje penale, da, arata penal, nu am multe de comentat. motorul imi place mai mult ca aspect. Visionul fata de Electra este insa mult mai manevrabil, usor, prietenos etc. am avut de ales si am ales. multe nu pot spune dupa 1200km, insa in iulie voi avea cam 16000km si voi reveni cu detalii. despre customizare....mda nu prea se gasesc piese, dar "nu prea" inseamna ca se gasesc dar cu mai mult efort.
