Deja nu mai se discuta deloc de Transalp. Hai sa revenim la subiect.
Mi-a placut ce zicea un tip pe ADVRIDER:
Must admit that after the Varadero XL1000V was revealed at the ’98 Munich Intermot Motorcycle Exhibition I thought it was to big, to heavy and was wearing an oversized coat of plastics… 3 Months later I bought my first one and currently I am riding on my 3rd Varadero.
History is repeating… After the first old-school Transalp 600 was revealed at the ’86 Paris Motorcycle Exhibition, every one was shouting that it was to big, to heavy, to oversized and to ugly.
And today it happens again. People are starting to criticize a bike without having ridden a single mile with it… OK, I do have my question marques regarding the ‘design’ bash plate and the increased weight, but reading at other traillie forums as well I know one thing for sure: It will not brake down.
I will keep my judgment for myself till I have taken the new Alp for a test ride, which will be soon… The bike will be available at our Honda agents (besides the space-cake…) early November!
