Marc Marquez won’t try and steal a march on his rivals by racing Honda’s 2015 prototype RC213V machine in the final phase of the current campaign. Marquez broke the Brno lap record when he tested next year’s RC213V contender immediately after losing his 100% winning streak in the Czech Republic last month. The 21-year-old, who returned to winning ways last Sunday with a brilliant victory over Yamaha rival Jorge Lorenzo at Silverstone, said he would have liked to race the 2015 bike ahead of schedule. But after consulting with HRC and his Repsol Honda crew, it has been agreed that Marquez will finish the season on this year’s RC213V, which he has won 11 out of 12 races on so far. The Spaniard said: “I would like to use the new bike and I am sure if I pushed a lot Honda would give to me. We already spoke with them and my team and until now all is going well and we don’t want to take any risks. Maybe with the 2015 bike I can be faster but we have seen during the season that my pace on the 2014 bike has been so good and we have taken the decision to continue like that.” Assessing where the 2015 RC213V has improved compared to the current model, Marquez added: “It is better in mid-corner and I am really happy because we improved in that area. With better mid-corner feeling it means we are faster on the exit too.”

Marquez e noul cadru pt honda Se pare ca permite unghiuri de inclinare peste 60 ° Are nevoie de palpatoare pe tot bratul si umar » Post actualizat in 21 Aug 2014 11:15 Marc Marquez has written off the prospect of racing in both MotoGP and Moto2 in Valencia’s final round in November. Speculation has been rife that the dominant reigning world champion was seriously contemplating spicing up the season finale with a double race appearance. The 21-year-old is likely to wrap up his second premier class crown well in advance of the final race on November 9, and had begun investigating the possibility to make a shock return to Moto2. But the Spaniard, who won the 2012 Moto2 world title before embarking on a record-breaking career in MotoGP, said the chances of him doing both races in Valencia were only five per cent. Marquez said: “I say there is a five per cent chance because I do not close the door completely. But it is virtually closed. It is something I would like to do in my dreams but right now it is impossible. And maybe Honda wouldn’t be so happy because Moto2 is a really tough class and you can be first or 20th. We can close this chapter because I won’t do it and I will focus only on MotoGP.”

Eu daca voi putea voi face un filmulet in cursa viitoare. Ce zice-ti de idee? -

Managing Director Jarvis is delighted to have him stay on board. “I am very happy that we have concluded the agreement with Valentino for 2015 and 2016. Since his return to Yamaha in 2013 it's been a very positive experience for everybody involved. After two difficult years 'away from home' Valentino returned last year, not only to us but also to his beloved YZR-M1. Fans of racing across the world were happy to see him rediscover his competitive performance and witness him take pleasure in riding and having fun again on two wheels. “The “fun factor” is crucial to Valentino to get results – in fact when he first joined us in 2004 one of the most important motivations for his move to Yamaha was his desire to create an environment where he could enjoy racing. His enjoyment is obvious to all who meet him at the MotoGP events or who see him race on TV and is reflected in his excellent race results this year where he is currently in second position in the World Championship.” Though this deal has been expected for several weeks, speculation of Rossi's plans beyond 2016 remain open to debate, with rumours suggesting he could continue in MotoGP, follow through on the much teased suggestion of racing in World Superbikes or retire altogether. Whichever path his chooses, Jarvis is confident Rossi will remain with Yamaha beyond 2016 in some capacity. “We look forward to the next two and a half years together and it is our intention that Valentino will remain with Yamaha until the end of his sporting career and beyond.”
