It warms up the bed on a cold winter night, And sends pesky fleas on a panicked flight. Some farts are quiet, while others are loud, Some linger boldly, a poisonous cloud. A fart might be short, or it could last long, At times it surprises, like a musical song. It can form a medley, quite curious indeed, Harmless and light, or a silent misdeed. Some farts are faint, while others are vile, Some fade away, and some linger a while. A fart can emerge in all sorts of places, Leaving behind some bewildered faces. From wide open fields to cramped elevators, Farts find us all—yes, sooner or later. But farts aren’t all bad, that much is true, For sweet old farts bring joy, like you.
