  3. Uite altul cu o problemă asemănătoare de pe un grup de Facebook (Honda cb500x): "PTPA I'm having problem with my CB500X 2019 model, I don't know if it's normal or not but I'm hearing a loud annoying hizzing noise on the left side of the engine part when running my bike, Honda Mechanichere in Philippines told me that the noise is because of slipper clutch and that is normal during break-in period. Is there anyone here experiencing the same thing? I started hearing that noise when I reached 4000++ kms. Thanks"
  5. Avem și noi ceva foarte interesant in Suceava.
In rest mi-a plăcut foarte mult motocicleta, însă prețul cred că e mai mare decât oferă.
Pun review-ul aici, si un link cu topicul respectiv: https://advrider.com/f/threads/2019-honda-cb500x.1353357/page-14 „A little review of the 2019 Honda CB500X: I took delivery of my Honda CB500X at my local dealer in Haugesund Norway on March 8th. The International Woman Day . After delivery I have now ridden it 600 kms, mostly on cold paved roads. My first impressions is that the CB500X is a great bike and I would like to share some facts and thoughts with you. What type of bike do I want: I have owned a lot of different bikes, my first 500ccm was a Honda VT500C, then I bought a Kawasaki Versys 650 (2007 model), followed by a BMW F800GT, then a BMW R1200GS (LC) 2013, then a Honda CRF250L. I have also owned some scooters (125 and 250 ccm) and a 50ccm moped The reason for buying the little CRF was because I started to do more unpaved road with my GS and after some time also some offroad. My R1200GS is about 245 kg wet with the extra accessories, too heavy when you sit stuck in the mud . It is also very heavy to lift up when the bike fall over. Even the simple task of maneuver the bike when not sitting on it, is bothersome. I am not a muscle man. The CRF 250L is 146 kg wet and the difference in weight from the GS is very noticeable. The low weight of the CRF makes me a lot more confident when exploring new trails. But I also want to do gravel- and off road far away from home. Trans Euro Trail as an example. The CRF 250L is a great bike for the trails. It is possible to upgrade it to be a bit more comfortable bike for the long distance travel. The engine is a bit underpowered to be fun to ride long-distance. You have to plan your overtakes very carefully and it will struggle in the uphills when loaded with luggage. I have done a 6500 km trip with it, from south-coast of Norway, in to Sweden, followed swedish Trans Euro Trail north in to Finland and then to North Cape in Norway. Followed the Norwegian coast from North Cape on paved roads back to Haugesund. So everything is of course possible. Steph Jeavons, a british grandmother has traveled world around with a CRF 250 L But I want better comfort, better fuel range and more power than the 250L offers. And I also want most of its offroad capabilities. I realize it will be a compromise, something between the comfort of the GS and the light weight and easy handling of a CRF 250L. So I started the search: Search for a new bike: I soon found the CB500X Adventure (Rally Raid version) in my search. I read a lot of reviews and watched videos on YouTube. It soon became clear that the CB500X Adventure would be a great compromise for me. So maybe I should buy a brand new 2018 model or a second hand bike with low mileage and equip it with the Rally Raid wheels, skid plate and suspension. I think it will be more than enough capable of doing Trans Euro Trail. It also seems to have the comfort for the long distances. It has just enough power. And it has a large petrol tank. And the weight is acceptable. The price of it is also a plus. Before I decided to go for CB500X I also considered a lot of other bikes, among them Honda CRF450L, BMW F800/850 GS, G310GS, Versys X300, Triumph Tiger 800XC, Suzuki DL 650XT, KTM690/1090, Husqvarna 701 to mention some of them. But they are either too uncomfortable, too heavy, too tall, too unreliable or to pricey. I also considered KTM 790 Adventure/R and Yamaha Tenere 700 after they was revealed at EICMA 2018. Both bikes seems to be great bikes but the KTM is too expensive and the Yamaha is not yet available and is a bit tall to me. They are both a bit heavier than the CB500X and the petrol range is lower. I do not need all the power. The Honda is also a proven bike with a very good reputation. When Honda released the 2019 model with a lot of upgrades, among them 19" wheel, I decided to go for it. So I sold my R1200GS and my CRF250L. The plan is to upgrade it when upgrades comes available. Until further stock bike will be great with the exception of a skid plate, which will be necessary very soon. My first 600km on the CB500X: Comfort: The first ting I noticed is that my new bike is looking bigger than it feels when sitting on it. It doesn't feel much more heavy than my CRF250, may be it has something to do with the seat hight (83 cm vs 88cm) and weight distribution. Compared to my R1200GS (with low seat option) I feel the weight difference immediate when pushing the bike up to vertical from side stand. And every time I push the bike into place in my garage. The CB500X is so much easier to handle. The sitting position feels just right, it is upright (very slightly forward) and the distance down to the pegs is just right for my legs and height (176 cm). It will not be necessary for me to rise or move handlebars. Even in standing position the reach to the handlebar is great. Maybe it has something to do with my boots, but the gearshifter feels a bit too low in position. I will adjust it a bit higher. The seat itself is great. Its easy to move back and forward in the front part..about 15 cm. The seat extends up forward on the tank that much that a tank protector is not needed. The windshield is adjustable in two positions, stock delivered in the lowest. The highest position rises it about 4cm. It has to be done when the bike is stopped. Its a 5 min job with tools from the toolkit. I set it in the high position and will leave it there. The wind protection is good enough for me. Far better than no windscreen as on my CRF250. The shape of the front of the bike gives quite good weather protection for your legs. Only the brake lever is adjustable for the grip. Not the clutch. Very strange. But the clutch lever is very light to move...has something to do with the slipper clutch system. The gear shift is very easy and precise. There are no heated grips and no hand guards. Has to be ordered as extras separately. Same with center stand. Fuel consumption: It is said that the CB500X may have a range of 510km. It has a tank volume of 17,5 liters according to owners manual. I measured consumption on my last trip of 183 km. Topped tank before and after the trip and it had consumed 5,81 liters. That gives a consumption of 0,32 l/10km or 3,2 liters pr. 100km. In mpg that should read 73.5. The route was approximately horisontal, and the speed mostly 60-80 km/h. Maybe 70 km/h (43,5 mph) average. Did some overtakes and some accelerations to test the bike. Engine: The engine feels very torquey. On flat road I use 6th gear down to 50 km/h. Doesn't feel heavy for the bike. It is enough torque to speed the bike up, without any shaking or buzzing. In normal road speed (in Norway mostly 60, 70 and 80 km/h) the engine does not buzz in either rpm in 6th gear: 6th gear: 60 km/h (37,3 mph): 3000 rpm 70km/h (43,5 mph): 3400 rpm 80km/h (50 mph): 3900 rpm 90km/h (56 mph) 4400 rpm 100km/h (62 mph) 4900 rpm It seems that the gearing is well suited for slow riding on unpaved roads/trails. I didn't feel any jerkiness in throttle at low rpms, as some (one?) has reported There are no electronic settings of the engine...no rain, enduro or sports mode. No traction control, no need for it on a bike with 48 hp. Fully manageable to a driver with A2 license. But it does not feel underpowered in any way. Suspension: It is not possible to adjust neither compression or rebound damping. It feels like Honda has set the damping in a relative sporty setting and that is perfect for a fast pace over twisty paved roads. The bike feels very planted and stable. Very, very fun ... inspiring the rider to keep the pace high I do not think the setting is optimal when it comes to more unpaved/offroad oriented use. My CRF had a very soft setup of the suspension and I think that suited me very well. I know that a more experienced rider wants a harder setup. But for an intermediate driver like me I think a softer setup suits my lower pace better. The only adjustment possible of stock suspension is the preload of the springs. Front is adjustable on both sides and standard position is the 3rd groove. Clockwise adjustment for increased preload. I didn't experiment with it...the sag of the bike front and rear seems right for my weight (87 kg). The rear shock spring preload has 5 positions adjustable with a spanner from the toolkit. Standard position is 2. Position 5 is most preload. It is not easy to adjust because of the limited space (but far better than on my CRF where it was near impossible). An external adjuster would be welcome. A bike like this will be loaded and unloaded with luggage quite often. Brakes: I liked the bite of the rear brake. Better than most. And I think the front brake also does its job very well. The bike has ABS, I have not tested it yet. It is not possible to switch the ABS off. I think it should. When doing a lot of offroad..it may be better to lock front wheel to reduce braking distance and avoid an object, than slowly brake/steer into it. Light: The headlight is LED and also the blinkers. The headlight beam is not that awesome flooding I had with my 4000 lumen lights from Clearwater Lights on my GS, but it is better than all other motorcycles I have owned. I would like the high beam to be better. We have a lot of dark wet tunnels in Norway and I like to see the moose better in the evening. I will probably mount some extra lights. The blinkers looks like the flexible type we have seen on the new CRF 450L but sadly it isn't. Instrument panel: The instrument panel is great. It is easy to read in all light conditions. The digits has a golden look to it when lighting is right, exclusive The clock is choosable 12 or 24 hour, you find a gear indicator !, two trip counters, current fuel consumption, average consumption, reserve fuel consumption, fuel gauge flashing when 2,8 l remains, engine temperature, analog and digital engine rpm indicators, speed, average speed, rev indicator (when to change gear) odometer, backlight adjustment. The only thing I miss is an outside temperature indicator. The gear indicator is very easy to read and very useful. You won't miss the 7th gear with this Accessories: Connectors: Over the instrument panel you find a crossbar with diameter I measured to 13mm. Probably half inch. I plan to mount my GPS (Garmin Montana) on it. Someone will mount a mobile phone. So you will have to find a mounting system for a half inch crossbar. Not easy. Next you will have to find some outlet to charge your mobile or GPS. I think power outlets, at least a power outlet of the 12V sigarett type should be mandatory on all new bikes. A 12V outlet is offered as accessory. But nowhere I find where it will be connected, probably there is a connector hidden in the panels. But the manual only explains removal of left panel, not left forward panel/cowl. And not the right panels. Why does not Honda show this in the owners manual? I did find a power outlet under the seat. It is probably switched 12V. But to use it you will need the correct connector type or use an other type of connectors. Honda should inform about use of connectors and removal of all panels in the owners manual! In the accessory list (as shown per march 2019 in Norwegian site) you will find heated grips, a 12V outlet to be mounted in predrilled hole in the left cockpit area, led foglights with a on/off switch to be mounted in the center of the cockpit just under the instruments, a upper cowling bar to mount the led foglight, a centerstand, some tankbags, two different top boxes, a luggage rack for the top boxes, knuckle protector (kind of hand guard NOT solid enduro type) and tinted windscreen. The prices seems to be reasonable. There are still no skid plate, luggage sideracks or sidecases. Hopefully, in near future, Rally Raid and other aftermarket accessories will be available. A solid skidplate and handguards is on top of my priority list.„
Baaai ..mi-a cam dat planurile peste cap.
