  1. aici spune ca problema umarului e destul de deranjanta

Today I raced with a very tired arm - he declared - I was in pain during the warm-up phases, and as a result I had to resort to painkilling infiltration. It is a very strange thing, which I am trying to understand with my physiotherapist. In some moments I am in pain, while in others I feel bad. Apart from that, I did the race with an arm that was becoming more tired lap after lap. So I have to work on my body, as well as the bike

Today I managed to be in front and this is important. What interests me is how much effort I have to put in to be with the best. In addition, there is also race management, since I would like to be the one to manage the race and not have to adapt to the other riders. Apart from that it was a good weekend, where we tried a lot of things that will be useful for the future. In the race, however, I wanted to do my own thing, using what I liked. In some ways this could be considered as a step backwards, but in the end it is like having made a compromise. In the end the race did not go in the desired direction, but we took a step forward.

  2. MM spune chiar el ca nu mai poate sa faca magia ce o facea inainte si ca acum ii trebuie o moto mai manevrabila.

I lost the front and fell, he explained. I think it's partly due to the bike's set-up, which should provide greater stability. The fact is that, when I lose the front, there's nothing I can do. I can't make certain saves like I used to. I end up falling. In the end, these things happen, so I have to try to be gentle and composed on the bike.

Yamaha suspends and withdraws Viñales from Austrian GPDue to the unexplained irregular operation of the motorcycle in the Styria race, Viñales won't be riding at the Red Bull Ring

Yamaha regrets to announce that Maverick Viñales’ entry to this weekend’s Austrian MotoGP™ event has been withdrawn by the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team.

The absence follows the suspension of the rider by Yamaha due to the unexplained irregular operation of the motorcycle by the rider during last weekend’s Styria MotoGP™ race.

Yamaha’s decision follows an in-depth analysis of telemetry and data over the last few days.

Yamaha’s conclusion is that the rider’s actions could have potentially caused significant damage to the engine of his YZR-M1 bike which could have caused serious risks to the rider himself and possibly posed a danger to all other riders in the MotoGP™ race. The rider will not be replaced at the Austrian GP.

Decisions regarding the future races will be taken after a more detailed analysis of the situation and further discussions between Yamaha and the rider.

  4. 2021 MotoGP calendar update: Australia cancelled, Algarve added, Malaysia moved

The Australian Grand Prix is dropped from the 2021 MotoGP calendar and replaced by a second round at Portimao. Malaysia moved.

The Australian round of the MotoGP World Championship has been cancelled for the second year in succession, due to ongoing 'travel complications and logistical restrictions' caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The popular Phillip Island event had been scheduled for October 22-24 and its departure means that the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang has been moved forwards to take over that weekend, thus forming a back-to-back with Buriram in Thailand.

Meanwhile a return to Portimao, which hosted round 3 of this year, has now been added to the calendar (as the 'ALgarve Grand Prix') to form the penultimate event of the 2021 season on November 5-7. This April's race was dominated by world championship leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) with Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) and Joan Mir (Suzuki) completing the podium.

Phillip Island joins Motegi and KymiRing in being officially cancelled from the 2021 schedulewhile the Argentine round at Termas de Rio Hondo remains postponed, with no new date.

etronas Yamaha insists 'we have not yet determined our rider line-up for the 2022 season' following a report that Valentino Rossi's MotoGP contract will not be renewed.

Petronas Yamaha has clarified comments attributed to team principal Razlan Razali in a Malaysian publication, which reports the team has already agreed not to renew Valentino Rossi's contract and is now seeking a young rider to take his place for the 2022 MotoGP season.

Petronas told Crash.net that the quotes are not accurate and provided the following statement, emphasising that no decision has yet been made but that, whenever Rossi's time at the team does come to an end, their focus will return to the development of young riders:

'Our overriding rider selection philosophy has been the same since the beginning; talent development.

'Working with Valentino Rossi was a tremendous opportunity for the team and this relationship has enabled the non-rider talent within the team to grow. To have chosen a more experienced rider is an exception and we expect to favour youth in the future.

"We have not yet determined our rider line-up for the 2022 season however once the relationship with Valentino comes to a conclusion, we expect to return our focus of our goal to find the best young riders.'

Nine-time world champion Rossi - signed directly to Yamaha, then placed at Petronas under a second contract - has cited the upcoming summer break for a decision on his MotoGP future.

  7. din declaratii Morbi nu o sa mearga la VR46. zicea ca sunt piloti mai tineri care trebuie sa mearga acolo:

VR46 should aim for young talents

It's even theoretically possible that Morbidelli might find himself in something of a tug-of-love between Petronas and VR46 for 2022.

The squad named after Morbidelli's team-mate and mentor Valentino Rossi is known to be seriously considering a full MotoGP project, having dipped its toe into the premier-class with Luca Marini this season.

"Racing for VR46 maybe in a distant future could be a good thing, but I think VR46 should aim for young talents from the Academy to bring up," said Morbidelli, the first and most successful member of the VR46 Riders Academy.

"I've spent already four years in MotoGP and, yeah I'm young, but I'm not that young! So I don’t think I'm in the target of an eventual VR46 Riders' Academy team."

Qatar qualifying aside, Rossi - who has a Factory-Spec Yamaha - has made a slow start to his Petronas career, scoring just four out of a possible 75 points so far.

Morbidelli remains convinced that the nine-time world champion has the potential to fight for victories if he can ride as he wants.

"If Vale's able to put on track what he knows to do, I'm sure he's going to be able to fight for wins," Morbidelli said.

  8. Aprilia a semnat ca echipa oficiala:

Aprilia Racing to remain in MotoGP™ until 2026

The Noale factory has signed a new agreement with Dorna Sports to remain in the premier class for five more years

Tags MotoGP, 2021, Aprilia Racing Team Gresini

Dorna Sports is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with Aprilia Racing to participate in the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship through 2026. For the next five seasons, Aprilia Racing will be one of the protagonists in the premier class, thereby reaffirming its mission of technological research and experimentation excellence within the Piaggio Group.

From 2022, Aprilia Racing will participate as a manufacturer, with the official RS-GP machines on the track as a factory team. The agreement with Gresini Racing will come to an end, which accompanied Aprilia Racing’s participation in the Championship since 2015. In the moving and heartfelt memory of Fausto, Aprilia Racing holds the Gresini Racing team in the highest regard and wishes to thank them for these years together.

Aprilia is one of the most victorious brands in motorcycle racing history, having won an astonishing 54 world titles in its young career, 38 in World Championship Motorcycle Grand Prix racing, 7 in World Superbike and 9 in Off-Road disciplines. With 294 Grand Prix wins, it is the European brand that has won the most races in World Championship Motorcycle Grand Prix racing. Many of the riders who have made motorcycling history in the last few decades have made their debut on the bikes from Noale. These World Champions include Max Biaggi, Loris Capirossi, Alex Gramigni, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Manuel Poggiali, Marco Simoncelli and Alvaro Bautista.

Massimo Rivola – Aprilia Racing CEO: "I am obviously happy about this agreement. From next season, we will be participating in an official capacity as a manufacturer. This opens up new and hopefully great opportunities and we will need to manage many additional responsibilities. It is a natural step that we are taking just as we are beginning to see the first positive signs from the hard work we’ve done in Noale, first and foremost on our structure, and consequently on our beautiful RS-GP bikes. At this time, our thoughts and gratitude go to Gresini Racing, who have accompanied us in these years. In heartfelt memory of Fausto, I wish the team and all its staff the best success for the coming seasons."

Carmelo Ezpeleta - Dorna CEO: "Dorna and Aprilia extending their partnership is really positive news for the FIM MotoGP World Championship. We are excited to continue this association with the Italian manufacturer in a project that has set many fascinating goals, not just in racing performance, but in overall technical excellence."

Fausto's wife Nadia Padovani becomes Gresini Racing CEO, committed to 2022 Independent team; 'We’re currently speaking with several manufacturers and in a matter of few weeks we will reveal the details of our MotoGP project'.

The Gresini team is "speaking with several manufacturers and in a matter of few weeks we will reveal the details of our [2022] MotoGP project".

Those are the words of Nadia Padovani, Fausto’s wife, who has been announced as the new CEO of the Faenza-based company, thus taking over Fausto's former roles of both Team Owner and Team Principal.

Following Fausto's tragic death from Covid-19 complications earlier this year, there had been speculation that the team's plan to continue in MotoGP by reverting to full Independent status next season might be in jeopardy.

However, a Gresini statement makes clear; 'With the whole family on board to give continuity to the company, Fausto’s secret wish to return to MotoGP as an Independent team will become a reality from 2022, as expected by the contract signed with Dorna at the end of last season.'

Gresini is currently partnered with the Factory Aprilia project, but Aprilia is set to join the other five manufacturers in having its own grid places for the next 2022-2026 contract cycle with Dorna (Update: Aprilia's 2022 Factory grid places now officially confirmed).

It has not yet been ruled out that Gresini could continue its relationship with Aprilia as a satellite team, but Suzuki and Ducati machines have also been rumoured. Fabio di Giannantonio, who races for Gresini in Moto2, is poised to be one of the team's 2022 MotoGP riders.
