    La 16.000, in conditiile in care franez 90% din cazuri doar cu fata.
  2. Daca ne gandim la regimul termic al cilindrilor, acest tip de v-twin ar fi trebuit sa se impuna in defavoarea celui de pe Harley, ca se evita incalzirea neuniforma. Ma intreb insa daca nu cumva vibratiile laterale, date de amplasarea longitudinala a ambielajului, care afecteaza stabilitatea motocicletei, au fost motivul pentru care acest V-twin nu mai este acum decat pe Guzzi. Sau o fi fost doar un marketing mai bun al celor de la HD?

    N-am stiut amanuntul asta. Oricum, cele vechi erau din aluminiu turnat de vreo 4-5 mm, al meu e din tabla de aluminiu de 1,5mm, pe care am pus autocolant. E departe de topoarele de altadata. Nu-i bai, imi mai scade un colt de stea Euro NCAP la protectia pietonilor.

    Daca-s alea care si-au inceput calatoria cu Lupalb si Foxdesert, asa este. Pastreaza-le, in cativa ani vor deveni extrem de valoroase. Piese de muzeu.
  9. Din contra, daca te invarti in cercuri restranse trebuie sa te apleci => adio cauciucuri patrate. Cercuri largi, dragule, daca vrei sa ramai patrat la cauciucuri. Cercurile restranse sunt pentru cei patrati la cap.

The new Goldwing will replace the industry-leading GL-1800 Goldwing which went into production in 2001. The 2009 GL-2000 Goldwing will feature a larger 2.0 litre (2000 cc) 6-cylinder engine matched to a new 6-speed transmission. Honda claims the new engine will produce 165 horsepower and 157 foot pounds of torque. "This new powerplant and transmission should provide the kind of power and torque Goldwing owners have come to expect" a company official says. With the new 6-speed transmission, the 2.0 liter engine turns only 2,500 rpm at 70 miles per hour. The new Goldwing will increase the safety of its riders with standard ABS brakes on all 2009 models. A rider airbag is also available as an option on the level 4 model.     Cum mai aveam rateuri in carb, in special cu motorul rece, am mai trecut o tura pe la Yoshi-San si a mai deschis 1/4 surubul, free of charge. A ramas sa ma mai duc si maine, daca tot sunt probleme, dar nu e nevoie.
  13. Informatia este inca neoficiala, deci nu aveam cum sa gasesc poze (nici ochiul lui Google n-a vazut asa ceva). Zvonurile sunt ca intr-o saptamana-doua va fi facut anuntul oficial. Ar cam fi cazul, ca Yamaha si Kawasaki au anuntat deja modelele 2009 (Midnight Star 950 respectiv VN 1700).

    @IcemaN: pilot screw sau A/F (air flow) screw e tocmai surubul din care se regleaza amestecul aer/benzina. E plasat undeva sub carb si, de aceea, ca sa-l poti regla fara sa dai carbul jos, ai nevoie de o surubelnita speciala, in unghi la 90 grade, care are la celalat capat un dispozitiv cu care masori rotatiile. Daca la tine una din tevi scoate fum, e posibil sa ai amestec bogat in carbul corespunzator (nu stiu daca motorul tau are 2 carburi sau unul pe ambii cilindri, ca la mine).

    Abia ce m-am intors. Nu a fost nevoie de reglat supapele, doar curatat filtrul de aer (K&N) si reglat pilot screw-ul. Mai mult a muncit sa repare un surub/piulita de la capacul filtrului de aer si alt surub/piulita de la suportul aceluiasi filtru. Precedentul mester care umblase la motor a vrut sa arate ca are muschi. Asa s-au scurs 2 ore de manopera. Pret: 100 RON. Mai urmeaza sa probez motorul la rece, sa vad daca mai face figuri. Din precedentele contacte cu el, stiu ca daca mai e nevoie sa regleze putin pilot-screw-ul, nu mai cere bani.
  16. Puterea nu este tot mai mica, ci doar rata de crestere a puterii e mai mica decat rata de crestere a cuplului. Cei 75 de cai ai VTX-ului ma pot duce la 180km/h, viteza pe care chiar nu am fost curios sa o ating. La mai mult de 160 nu e fun nici cu parbriz. Asa ca as renunta bucuros la vreo 15 CP in schimbul a 15 Nm in plus.

    Cam aceleasi simptome le-am patit si eu ieri, numai ca mie imi afuma si bujiile si da rateuri. Ar putea fi nevoie si de o reglare a supapelor. M-am programat pentru marti la Kaore (Yoshi-san), de care am fost multumit in trecut (ultima oara am trecut pe acolo cam acum un an). Intre timp, insa, au aparut si cativa nemultumiti de serviciile lui. Oi vedea. Vezi insa ca e destul de ocupat, suna la 031.805.49.57 pentru programare. Ar fi bine sa stii engleza, ca Yoshi nu vorbeste romaneste.
  18. Azi am aflat ca exista o asemenea substanta (costa cam 50 ron), facuta de Motul pentru motociclete. Cel care mi-a spus a si verificat si a fost multumit.

  20. De unde pana unde? VFR800: 111.72 Cp @ 10500rpm 80Nm @ 8750 rpm Daca astea-s caracteristici de cruiser, atunci poti face cruiser si din R1. In zona 1500, in Europa, nu mai e decat VN-ul de 1600 si Yamahele de 1700, ca Suzuki nu mai produce/importa Intruderul de 1500 din cauza de noxe. Abia dupa 2009 vor veni cu ceva. Suzuki nu mai are acum nimic intre m800/c800 si m1800/c1800, ca mobre noi. Moment bun pentru Honda sa intre pe nisa. PS: Daca nu stiati, acum, in State, zona 1500-1600 cmc este deja numita "middle weight cruiser". Iar am ramas mititel, cu 1300. Acum 1,5 ani, cand mi-am luat VN800-le, stiam ca ma incadrez la aceasta categorie. Ce inflatie frate la cemecei, e ceva de speriat!

    Purghy are dreptate, termenul e corect, chiar daca e argotic. E piesa in care intra discurile. Dar ce ti s-a intamplat, ca nu prea are ce sa se strice la ea decat uzura la coroana dintata de pe exterior.
  24. Textul de mai jos l-am cules de pe forumul american VTX Cafe, al proprietarilor de Honda VTX 1300/1800. Unul a pus o intrebare, altul a venit cu informatiile de la un dealer Honda. Honda is going to revamp the cruiser line for 2009 as follows: The 250 Rebel will be renamed. "Rebel" is over 20 years old now and Honda wants to renew and reposition it. Word is that it will become the new 500cc cruiser. The 750 Aero and it's several associated models will lose the confusing moniker - Honda Shadow Aero as will the 1100 Aero. The Shadow line is over 20 years old as well. As part of updating its image, Honda will unify the 750, 1100, 1300, and 1800's under the VTX brand and put EFI on each bike. They've had EFI on the 750 Aero since 2006'ish in EU. VTX will no longer stand for V-Twin eXtreme, but V-twin eXtended with the 1800 getting bumped to 2000cc and will be called the VTX2K. The 1300 becomes a 1500; the 1100 and 750 stays where they are. I'm hearing that the VTX2K and VTX1500 will have belt drives, but I can't confirm that with my source just yet but word has it that Honda will start using belt drives on some of the new VTX line. Tachometers will come stock on the VTX2K and VTX1500 along with a real fuel guage. 6-speed transmisssions will only be available on the VTX2K. Honda has been tooling up the Japanese plant for vTX's for over 2 years now, so they're ready to set the MC world on its ear in the next couple of weeks with announcements that will make you rethink your next bike purchase.
