Motoreta arata bine, insa Suzuki imi place mai mult. A integrat mai bine aero in estetica motocicletei. 

 

Modelul aero al carenei e copiat după RC16 - care personal mi se pare cea mai arătoasă motocicletă de pe grilă.

Vorbim despre modelele 2018. Motocicletele spec 2019 vor apărea probabil doar la ultimul test din Qatar (01/03), fix înainte de prima cursă.

Lucrurile sunt într-adevăr legate. Monster era sponsor secundar la echipa oficială Yamaha și sponsor principal la Tech3. Dar cum francezii au trecut la motociclete austriece, au trecut și la energizant austriac. Monster a putut deci să-și focalizeze sponsoring-ul spre echipa de uzină Yamaha după ce Movistar s-a retras din competiție.

 

Puțin off-topic, dar cum nu e thread separat pentru WSBK 2019...

Panigale V4 are deocamdată cel mai frumos sunet de motor și cele mai realiste faruri false. Pe S1000RR parcă sunt pictate cu acuarela.

Last year ended with Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinalesoffering very different opinions on the state of Yamaha's 2019 MotoGP preparations. Looking to rebound from a lone win at Phillip Island, two different engine specifications were on offer for Rossi and Vinales at Valencia and Jerez. But while Vinales felt confident the new package could fight for the 2019 title, Rossi - who preferred the same engine as Vinales - was far more pessimistic about the potential: "If we race tomorrow, we are fifth, sixth, seventh… We don’t fight for the victory," he said. Such comments prompted speculation that another engine design might appear for this week's opening 2019 test at Sepang. However, Kouichi Tsuji, boss of Yamaha Motorsports, said in Jakarta on Monday that the M1s available at Sepang will be "based on one engine" design, but with "some different parts to evaluate… So, same engine, but something different on the 'outside' [of the engine] I would say." In an interview with TMCblog.com at the Monster Yamaha team launch, Tsuji added that the bikes of Rossi and Vinales will not be developed in different directions: "No, they are both in the same direction. Because to be honest at the last five races of last season both riders had almost the same set-up" - reinforcing rumours that the other Yamahas switched over to the new set-up used by Vinales at Burirum, which saw more weight moved to the rear of the bike. "Maybe the last part, 1-5%, is rider preference and for sure there will be some small differences between their bikes, but it is not a different way," Tsuji said. Tsuji also gave a new insight into Yamaha's difficulties over the past two seasons, saying that the 2017 bike was too sensitive, an issue that they overcorrected for 2018, leaving them with a bike that didn't respond well enough to set-up changes. "The 2017 bike was too sensitive for the set-up, for the track temperature or circumstances like that. Then we tried to make like more capable, stable, so that small changes don't affect the bike or rider [for 2018] "So [2017] it was too sensitive, then last year we tried to make it less sensitive, but finally we found some problems where if we changed some things the bike was not reacting."

mie imi place noua Yamaha... in formatul asta parca are un aer mai racing/agresiv.. cumva

Nu cred.motogp.com nu transmite.

Va fi after the flag si o sinteza zilei.

Poate se indura ceva localnic sa faca broadcast live pe youtube.

Edit: testul MotoGP din Qatar va avea loc între 23 și 25/02. Cu 2 săptămâni înainte de prima cursă.

Testele sunt o mare plictiseală. Dorna a transmis în direct doar testul de la Valencia, nu și pe cel de la Jerez, așa că mă îndoiesc că posturi de televiziune gen BT Sports sau altele care au contract cu Dorna să transmită integral Sepang și Qatar.

Da pai asa a scos tot timpul in teste nu?Nu e nimic neobisnuit,e deja o traditie.Casca e speshial ca de obicei.F misto.

Oricum cea mai smechera casca de teste ramane tot a lui Rossi aia cu omuletul de zapada :

Declaratii din prima zi la Yamaka :

Vinales : “The bike is already quite good. We just need to improve a little bit the grip, a little bit the power and I think it’s not more things. Finally that’s the thing that will give us the opportunity to do good races.

“Also it’s important to do long runs because the degradation of the tyre is going to be key to being in front, especially in the last laps. Sometimes we suffer a lot with the tyres.

“It will be important to be constant on lap one and also lap 20. For sure it will be important to focus on the tyre degradation and also the engine, which was where we did the mistake for the last two years.

“Like last year, I try to manage as I can. You try to build up a bike for your riding style. Last year the bike didn’t go so well for my style. Anyway, it’s team work. You have to get the best performance for both riders.

 

Rossi : "I have just one engine in this test, because the two configurations that we had, now Yamaha bring just one,I'm happy with the choice, yes. Between the two are not a lot of difference. But the engine is not so bad."

"In Valencia and Jerez we had really, really small things. Not a lot," the Italian said. "Here we have some bigger things, more important.

"We work a lot on the engine brake, especially because Maverick always pushes from this point of view and is right. We have something better and also some different things compared to Jerez."

The #46 confirmed he expects this engine to be the version he uses when the racing season begins: "Sincerely, I have just one engine and it is more-or-less already decided [it will be raced]."

"So we are agreed about the weak point of the bike… From this, to fix, we have to work!"

 

"The first day is quite positive because I have good feeling with the bike from the beginning and it also looks like also with the used tyre, which is our weak point, we are not so bad," said Rossi, who was 0.43s from Honda's Marc Marquez but only 0.12s from Vinales.We tried something today that improved a little bit the performance. It's s all together engine, electronics and also chassis side of the bike. We try to work with the used tyres and if you look at the lap times, with the other guys, we are not so bad.For me, we start in a good way, but we need more."
