Pierer Mobility has today, Tuesday 20th May confirmed that KTM AG was saved at the last moment by its Indian co-owner Bajaj, as they secured the necessary €600 million as loan for KTM AG to pay the 30% of the debt owed to its creditors which must be paid before midnight of May 23rd. 2 American banks and 1 from Singapore have approved the deal so to allow KTM AG, avoid bankruptcy, the loan was officially granted via Bajaj, this intervention ensures short-term survival for KTM but it does not come without consequences as Bajaj is now expected to become the majority shareholder in KTM.

Aprilia have broke the silence regarding Jorge Martín Almoguera and this is what they had to say:

Milan, May 22, 2025 – The contract between Aprilia Racing and Jorge Martín is valid and in effect, and as such must be respected until its expiration (end of 2026) by both parties, as Aprilia Racing has done, honoring it in every aspect, within the agreed terms and methods, and will continue to do so in the future.

 

Aprilia Racing denies the existence of any negotiations between the parties to modify the duration of the contract, which remains as originally agreed, and does not comment on matters that do not directly concern it. However, it expects other teams not to make any offers of any kind to riders who are under contract: such behavior would be illegitimate.

 

The entire team will continue to support Jorge in his physical recovery process, as it always has, and looks forward to seeing him back on track with the RS-GP.

Dacă e adevărat ce zice, înseamnă că vina e împărțită. Nu e ok să l forțezi să semneze prelungirea contractului când el e împachetat și ți a zis din capul locului că vrea să vadă performanțele motocicletei.

Cât timp și l a asumat, nici nu mai contează. Ceva nu i a plăcut lui Gheorghe la Aprilia și s a folosit de o clauză din contract să refuze prelungirea. 

Acuma, sunt curios cine l mai ia după faza asta și alea de la Ducati. Mi ar plăcea să meargă la Yamaha în locul lui Rins, iar Toprak la Pramac în locul lui Oliveira.
