La un moment dat spunea cineva ca e posibil sa influenteze fluxul de aer. Plecarea e la 21 din Pireu si sosirea la 6 dimineata in Khania. Recomandat ar fi sa fii in port la 7. Eu mi-am facut rezervarile pe directferries.com. Atentie mare cand mergi cu rezervarile printate la casa, unii sunt blegi rau (eu am prins un mos handicapat) care nu vroia sa inteleaga ca am rezervare platita si pt motocicleta, desi o avea printata sub nas. Nu astepta sa iei biletele cu o ora sau mai putin inainte, ca o sa fie omor la gheretele alea. Nu lasa nimic pe motor care poate fi furat - unul dintre baietii mei a ramas fara geaca la intoarcere din Creta. Cum iesi din port dai intr-o intersectie mare in forma de Y. Pe partea stanga, imediat dupa ce ai trecut strada, este o carciuma cu gyros si haleala de-a lor senzationala, nu mai stiu cum ii zice. Suna-ma daca mai vrei detalii. Sau ma rog, eu nu stiam chestia asta si cand am aflat, anul trecut, am ramas un pic masca... Rezervorul de la Adventure (DOHC, 2010) este de 36 de litri. Evident, am aflat dupa ce am facut pana prostului (din cauza unei estimari gresite a bordului) si am facut plinul. Ca sa fiu sigur ca nu am gresit cu ceva, am repetat "experimentul", mergand cu o canistra la mine umpluta cu fix 5L, pana cand n-a mai pornit motocicleta. Dupa canistra am mai alimentat 31 L. Ăi mai excentrici își iau KTM Adventure, că GS-ul e mai „pentru moși“. Catalogul Touratech e un fel de biblie, iar cutiile de aluminiu lucesc în soare, fără urmă de zgârietură. Cea mai mare aventură este un drum în Vamă. Că are și ceva off-road, între Expirat și Stuf. Oprirea se face la hotelul acela urât de pe plajă, iar apoi se strâmbă din nas în cor că-i nașpa în Vamă. Vorbesc despre ture la schi în Alpi și se uită după gagici tinere, în timp ce nevestele-i așteaptă acasă. Să facă peste 500 de km pe zi li se pare inuman, inutil, inacceptabil, iar un bicilist dedicat pedalează mai mulți km decât reușesc ei să țină gazul deschis. Poartă Rukka, Schuberth C3 Pro, țin în buzunar cheile de X5 și cea mai mare aroganță e să se ridice în scărițe și să treacă printr-o baltă. Parcă sunt din ce în ce mai mulți. Glam-ul noilor motociclete adventure, mai mult niște SUV-uri grele pline de sisteme, îi cucerește iremediabil. Se uită de sus la băieții care dau ture pe bulevard în tricou și nu înțeleg că sunt doar o variantă ceva mai fandosită, cu spoială dată de contul plin de bani făcuți din speculă. Nu știu voi, dar eu îi văd din ce în ce mai des. Nu-mi plac, dar e bine că există. Contribuie la piața noastră străvezie, care de-abia trece de la o zi la alta. Și mai e ceva. Dacă vrei să-ți iei o motocicletă second hand, o poți cumpăra pe-a lor liniștit. Și ea ar vrea să scape la fel de mult de ei. Ca un cal de rasă, în putere și fără vină, care, îl loc să alerge, stă priponit în grajd cu fânul în față."
